FAQs
At Camlough Dental, our aim is to provide the best service delivered by the best in technology and techniques. From a wide range of general and cosmetic dentistry, as well as adult orthodontics and dental implants, we also have our own in-house dental hygienist.
Is the Smile Makeover process expensive?
The cost of a smile makeover will depend on the current state of your teeth. Some people may only need a whitening treatment, while others may need veneer or crowns while still others may need a combination of many of the available treatments. The team at Camlough Dental will discuss all your options and agree on a cost before the start of any treatment so there won’t be any surprises.
Will the process cause me any discomfort?
Again, it depends on which treatment or treatments you and your dentist decide are right for you. However, because we use the most up-to-date technology and materials, we can promise you that any discomfort will be minimised and, in many cases, there will be no pain whatsoever. If you are a nervous patient you can ask for our ‘Relaxing Gas’ which can help make the treatments much less anxiety inducing.
What’s the difference between a smile makeover and a cosmetic treatment?
A cosmetic treatment, as the name suggests, is one procedure, such as getting a single cavity or veneer put in place. A smile makeover, on the other hand, takes a more holistic approach and considers many different treatments to improve the overall look of your teeth. This might include a combination of orthodontics, white fillings, veneers, crowns, bridges or other procedures. Your dentist will create a tailor made treatment plan for you, including a written estimate, before they begin any work.
